This is the first time in the nine years we've lived here that I have seen our pond begin to ice over from bank to bank. It was 9 degrees on our deck yesterday morning and 12 degrees this morning.
Now if I just had those old hockey skates from my Kansas days.
9 and 12 degrees! I wonder what the temp was up on Blood Mnt then! I bet them SOBO's that are finishing up are feeling the chill!
It was -18 degrees at my homestead the other day and that was without windchill, which was more like -35! BRRRR!! Atleast there was snow on the ground. I even did the test of throwing up a cup full of boiling water and watching it turn instantly into a cloud...which was pretty cool (gotta have temps around atleast -10 to do this!)
anyhoo! Lord willing, I plan on going to Trail Days this spring in Damascus!
